STRATEGY

Our strategy was to create a modern, elegant, and personal online presence for Kate Walsh that would not only increase traffic and engagement but also empower her fans to become advocates for her brand. The core objective from Universal Music was to build a digital hub that would authentically reflect Kate as an artist and, in turn, encourage her audience to actively spread the word about her music and live tours.

To achieve this, we focused on three key strategic pillars:

  • Website as a Digital Home: We designed the site to feel like a personal, intimate space for fans by using classic design elements like photo frames and mirrors. This approach fostered a deeper sense of connection and loyalty, making visitors feel like they were interacting with Kate within her own home.

  • Authentic Brand Reflection: The site's fluid navigation, stylish imagery, and organic feel were all carefully crafted to align with Kate's modern and simple approach to life and music. This ensured the online persona was a true and compelling reflection of her brand.

  • Built-in Viral Mechanics : We integrated social interaction into the core of the experience. Features like a blogging page and a message board were key to building a community, giving fans a platform to engage with Kate and each other. This created a powerful and organic viral loop, effectively promoting her live tours and spreading awareness.
