STRATEGY

BetMGM set out to create an activation that would energise football fans and deliver instant excitement during live events. Creamos responded with an interactive slot machine experience for a large touchscreen totem, combining bold, on-brand visuals with intuitive, high-impact gameplay.

Key strategic decisions included:

  • Brand-driven simplicity – Designing a clean, high-contrast interface with a bold gold spin button ensured instant recognition, working closely within BetMGM’s brand guidelines to keep visuals impactful yet easy to navigate.

  • Smart technical scalability – Building custom admin controls to adjust win rates, switch football club logos, and add new event branding without code changes, allowing the same game to be reused across multiple events. This not only supported MGM’s future plans but also reduced costs by avoiding full redevelopments.

  • Event-integrated experience – Aligning the game’s flow with the live event’s prize-giving process, where on-site BetMGM staff awarded prizes to winners immediately after gameplay, reinforcing audience excitement.

Developed in Unity for smooth, responsive interaction, the system runs entirely offline for reliability and portability, while providing a scalable foundation for future updates such as server-hosted assets and dynamic content.
