Story Spark

Creamos embarked on a journey to enhance Story Spark's brand, website, and marketing efforts. The project focused on rebranding, marketing, and product design to address key weaknesses identified in a meeting with Story Spark. The goal was to elevate the brand, improve user experience, and drive growth through targeted marketing campaigns.

The project will be developed and delivered through several stages with the following goals:

  • Enhance Story Spark's brand identity and visual appeal.   
  • Improve user experience and customer journey through the website and other touchpoints.   
  • Increase traffic and promote the product through effective marketing campaigns.   
  • Design mock-ups and a UI components library that align with the redesigned brand style.   

Some milestones of the project are:

  • Discover and identify key brand elements to further develop the brand's identity.   
  • Discover opportunities for improvement in the current user experience.   
  • Improve the brand identity with the design of brand guidelines that will ensure alignment and consistency across different touchpoints.   
  • Improve the website's user experience and the customer journey, by designing new user interface solutions and considering other possible touchpoints (e.g., emails).   
  • Design mock-ups and a UI components library, bringing to life the redesigned brand style.   
  • Increase traffic and promote the product through marketing campaigns.

Story Spark is an AI-powered platform that created captivating children's stories for all needs instantly. As a solution for families seeking engaging and educational content for their children, Story Spark is on a mission to promote literacy and imagination through personalized stories.

Starting with a strategic rebranding initiative, the visual designer refined the Story Spark logo and visual language. New style guidelines were created to ensure consistency across all touchpoints, establishing usage rules for the logo, colors, typography, imagery, and tone of voice. The brand philosophy and values were also shaped into a brand manifesto, a tagline, and a 'bridge' text to serve as a concrete and solid guide for the following stages of the project and for future projects as well.

Supporting material was also designed, including email signatures and corporate documents.

The website was redesigned to create a seamless and intuitive user experience. Clear messaging guided visitors through the story creation process, highlighting the benefits of the platform and encouraging them to become early adopters and advocates of Story Spark.

The website is:

  • Accessibility compliant against ADA requirements.
  • SEO friendly (optimized for search engines).
  • Responsive to desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • GDPR compliant (legally compliant under data protection legislation).
  • Integrated into Google Analytics and Mailchimp.

The new brand style was used to design marketing materials and was also a key resource in the development of the UI components library. Both were released later in 2024.
