STRATEGY

Our main goal was to generate buzz and engagement by leveraging the latest stories and public exploits of popular music artists. Instead of simply reporting the news, we transformed it into animated narratives, giving audiences a fresh and entertaining way to consume content. The objective was to create a series of eight original animated shorts for teenagers, featuring characters and storylines inspired by musical artists and their latest public antics.

This strategy was built on the following pillars:

  • Cultural Relevance: We selected artists who were at the center of public attention and resonated with conversations already happening on social media and other platforms.

  • Original Narrative: We didn’t just retell the facts, we created original characters and storylines based on the artists’ personalities and public moments. We also developed the double-meaning brand “Dogging,” referencing popular musicians through the humorous idea that dogs often resemble their owners.

  • High-Quality Production:We managed the full creative and production pipeline, from concept development and character design to scriptwriting, voice-overs, and animation.

  • Short-Form Video: By producing a series of short-form videos, we aligned with the viewing habits of an audience used to fast-paced, dynamic content on digital platforms. This format made the episodes easy to distribute, share, and rewatch.

In short, our strategy transformed music news into original, visually striking animated stories, creating a new kind of content that was relevant, entertaining, and perfectly suited for MTV’s audience.
